B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering)
PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs):
The students of Bachelor’s Program in Mechanical Engineering will be able to:
PO1: Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering specialization to solve the complex engineering problems.
PO2: Identify, formulate, and analyze various engineering problems to draw valid conclusions, using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO3: Design a system, component, or process to meet the desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, cultural, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability.
PO4: To function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
PO5: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
PO6: Communicate effectively regarding various engineering activities with the engineering community, and with society at large, such as being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.
PO9: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.
PO10: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.
M.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering)
Program Outcomes (POs):
The students of Master’s Program in Mechanical Engineering will be able to:
PO1: To undertake independent research and development work to solve practical problems.
PO2: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems to draw valid conclusions, using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO3: To prepare and present a substantial technical reports/documents.
PO4: To apply knowledge, techniques, skills and modern tools of mechanical engineering to the solution of engineering problems related to Materials Science, Production, CAD-CAM, Design, and Automation.
PO5: To demonstrate a degree of mastery at a level higher than the requirements in the bachelor program.
PO6: To demonstrate the applicability of state of art professional, ethical practices, services to the society and socio economic relevance, while executing the mechanical engineering projects.
Ph.D. (Mechanical Engineering)

On completion of Ph.D. Program in Mechanical Engineering, the students will be able to:
